Parmesean Black Pepper Waffles

This is just a super simple update that I've been loving lately

1 cup bisquick
1/2 cup buttermilk (can use milk in a pinch, but buttermilk is better)
1 tbl bacon drippings (could use melted butter)
1/2 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese
10-15 grinds black pepper

Mix everything, cook according to the directions on your waffle maker (I suppose you could try to make pancakes out of this but I'm not sure how well that would work). Done.  I like syrup on them anyway even though they are savory but you could amp up the savoryness by using garlic butter instead of plain and no syrup as well.  These rock with fried chicken.
